The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with the concurrence of the Government of Sri Lanka has appointed H.E. Wiebe Jakob De Boer as the resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to    Sri Lanka based in Colombo. He has presented credentials to H.E. Anura Kumara Disanayaka, President of Sri Lanka on 13 November 2025 at 9.30 a.m. at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo.
